The Standard Line of metal frames place more of an emphasis on the mat and photo than the width and depth of the frame. They come in a wide variety of finishes and colors. These frames do not have an extra cost.
(Colors: Silver, Frosted Silver, German Silver, Matte Black, Graphite, Frosted Pewter, & Gold)
If you prefer extra depth and a little wider face to your frame the Standard Plus is a nice frame. Whether you select a color or black and white photo this is a nice frame to choose. It does cost a little more since it is a Deluxe 1 Frame.
(Colors: German Silver, Matte Black, Pale Gold, Silver)
What the image is printed on is a choice that we can talk about. It comes down to the subtle look of the image on different papers or more noticeable differences with canvas, metal and glass.
Fine Art Paper – comes in a variety of finishes: glossy, luster / satin and matt.Fine Art Specialty Paper – 100% Cotton Rag, Metallic, Watercolor Paper, etc.
Canvas Metallic / Glass – May be Frameless
I typically use a museum and conservation quality matboard which is 100% Acid Free. I use a base matboard and an overmat of the same color (white) for my gallery showings. The client may want to have an accent color with the base mat or overmat to compliment their décor. I am happy to work with the client to meet their preferences.
